Ten Hospitality Associations Add Representation to HFTP's AI Collective to Advance Industry-Wide AI Innovation
HFTP welcomes industry-leading organizations to a collaborative initiative shaping the future of artificial intelligence in hospitality.
Austin, Texas — June 10, 2026 - Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) announced today that 10 prominent hospitality associations have joined its AI Collective, a nonprofit collaborative initiative dedicated to advancing the responsible adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence across the hospitality industry. The new members bring significant geographic reach and sector diversity to a growing effort to unify the industry's approach to AI innovation.
The associations joining the HFTP AI Collective, listed in alphabetical order, are the American Hotel Lodging Association (AHLA), the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), the Boutique Luxury Lodging Association,(BLLA), the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), the Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG), the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), the International Hospitality Information Technology Association (iHITA), and the Japan Hospitality Technology Association (JHTA). Their participation expands the Collective's network of hospitality organizations committed to shaping how AI is understood, adopted, and implemented across the industry.
The AI Collective brings hospitality organizations together to collaborate on AI advancement, share knowledge and best practices, and encourage responsible adoption of emerging technologies. Its mission is to help create a more unified industry pathway for AI innovation and implementation — one that benefits operators, educators, owners, and technology professionals alike.
