Ringhotels expands its PMS selection with Mews to optimize guest experience
Mews, the industry-leading hospitality cloud and winner of Best Hotel PMS at the HotelTechAwards 2024, was chosen by Ringhotels as an official PMS provider as part of their efforts to drive digital transformation in the German hotel industry. The hospitality cloud is now one of seven approved options that Ringhotels hoteliers can use to optimize operations and improve the guest experience. This coincides with Mews expanding its customer base by 93% amid the accelerating digital transformation in the German hospitality sector.
Founded in 1973, Ringhotels operates a diverse portfolio of mostly privately-run medium and upscale properties. These include professional conference venues, cozy holiday retreats and modern wellness destinations, all deeply rooted in their regional context and family-run ethos. Many of these properties have been managed by the same families for generations.
“Our selection of PMS providers, including Mews, underscores our commitment to flexibility and tailored solutions for our hotels,” explains Petra Weindl, Executive Board Member at Ringhotels. “We believe that Mews is among the leading PMS systems in Germany and provides our hoteliers with valuable tools to reduce administrative effort while simultaneously personalizing guest interactions.”
Ringhotels particularly values the seamless automation features of Mews, which reduce administrative tasks and allow staff to focus on personalized guest interactions. Additionally, the robust reporting and analytics capabilities of Mews provide invaluable insights for optimizing operations and enhancing guest satisfaction.
It helps them deliver a welcoming service while encouraging guests to immerse themselves in the local surroundings. With Mews, Ringhotels can seamlessly integrate technology into their operations while preserving the authentic, personal touch that defines their brand.
“I’m delighted that Mews is partnering with Ringhotels to enhance guest experiences across Germany,” said Richard Valtr, Mews Founder. “This collaboration shows our commitment to empowering independent hoteliers with innovative tools to deliver exceptional, regionally immersive hospitality.”
With this move, Ringhotels reaffirm its goal of providing independent hoteliers with innovative and effective tools to offer exceptional, regionally rooted hospitality. In partnering with Ringhotels, Mews continues to expand its presence in the DACH region, supporting hotels like Mercure Hotel MOA Berlin and Hotel Oderberger with cutting-edge technology solutions.
About Ringhotels
The hotel cooperative Ringhotels e.V. was founded on January 25, 1973. The founders aimed to create a counterpoint to the large international hotel corporations in the German market. Three purchasing cooperatives, known as "Einkaufsringe," from Lower Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, and Lower Bavaria merged to form a hotel cooperative, thus creating the name "Ringhotels."
From the Alps to the sea, the cooperative unites Ringhotels across Germany. The motto of Ringhotels, "Experience Genuine Home Pleasure," is a program. A private, very personal management, local ambiance, and excellent cuisine characterize the member hotels. In nearly five decades, the hotel cooperative has successfully established and developed itself in the German market. Among the mostly family-run businesses are professional conference hotels as well as family-friendly holiday hotels, modern wellness oases, and city hotels for city breaks. Under the umbrella of the second brand, "HeimatGefühl by Ringhotels," smaller hotels and country inns convey a special sense of "home feeling."
Ringhotels e.V. (www.ringhotels.de) is a member of the "Global Alliance of Private Hotels," which also includes Hôtels de Charme et de Caractère, Petit Hotels (www.petithotel.se), Small Danish Hotels (www.smalldanishhotels.dk), Golden Chain Hotels (www.goldenchain.com.au), the Asure Hotel group (www.asurestay.com), and Classic Norway Hotels (www.classicnorway.com).
