OOH Connect and HCN Announce Strategic Partnership to Expand Programmatic and Direct Demand for Hotel Room Tablet Screens
OOH Connect LLC, a next-generation demand and commercialization platform for Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) media, announced a strategic partnership with HCN (Hotel Communication Network), a world’s leading provider of in-room hotel tablets and commerce media networks across major hospitality brands.
Through this partnership, OOH Connect will serve as the exclusive partner responsible for driving both direct and programmatic advertising demand across HCN’s hotel-based commerce media network, unlocking new revenue opportunities for HCN while providing brands and agencies access to high-impact hospitality environments.
HCN operates one of the largest hotel commerce media networks in North America, delivering content, services, and advertising through in-room tablets placed inside thousands of hotel rooms across premium hospitality properties. These placements reach highly engaged travelers during moments of relaxation, planning, and decision-making. Addressable as both DOOH and display advertising, HCN’s tablets give brands transactional capabilities with every placement, in a trusted and relaxed environment, where consumers are more likely to try new brands.
By integrating OOH Connect’s demand infrastructure and industry relationships, HCN’s inventory will now be accessible to a broader ecosystem of brand marketers, agency trading desks, and programmatic DOOH buyers.
“Hospitality environments offer a uniquely powerful moment to connect with consumers,” said Hector Gonzalez, founder and CEO of OOH Connect. “Through our partnership with HCN, we are unlocking new demand opportunities for advertisers looking to reach travelers in a premium, brand-safe environment. Our role is to bring scalable demand, programmatic access and strategic brand partnerships that maximize the value of HCN’s network.”
Under the partnership:
- OOH Connect will lead direct brand and agency demand sales across the HCN network.
- Programmatic DOOH activation will be enabled through leading DSPs and programmatic platforms.
- Brands will gain access to high-value traveler audiences inside hotel rooms across major markets when they are more likely to try new brands.
- HCN inventory will be integrated into broader omnichannel DOOH campaign strategies.
HCN’s in-room tablet platform provides hotels with guest services, local recommendations, hotel communication tools and curated content while simultaneously offering brands a premium media channel to reach travelers with full commerce capabilities.
“We’re excited to partner with OOH Connect to expand the commercialization of our network,” said Kevin Bidner, founder and CEO of HCN. “OOH Connect brings deep expertise in the DOOH ecosystem and strong relationships across agencies and programmatic platforms that will help unlock the full advertising potential of our hospitality commerce media network.”
The partnership reflects the continued growth of place-based digital media and programmatic DOOH, as advertisers increasingly seek contextually relevant environments to reach consumers outside the home.
By combining HCN’s high-quality hospitality footprint with OOH Connect’s demand infrastructure and industry relationships, the partnership creates a powerful new opportunity for brands looking to engage travelers during key moments of their journey. Google found that 85% of leisure travelers decide on activities after arrival, and Visa reported that more than 60% of trip spend happens at the destination, making in-market media a direct path to action. HCN’s commerce media platform provides brands with a compelling opportunity to take advantage of these proven consumer behaviors.

Hotel Communication Network (HCN) creates instant profitability via its in-room Navigator interactive tablets connecting guests to the hotel, city, and each other. Navigator drives revenue, reduces operating costs, and increases guest satisfaction. HCN’s digital-dining experience, DineIN, enables operators to increase their room service revenues or fully outsource meal service from local restaurants via the tablet with f&b charged to the room or the guests’ preferred payment method. Smart Screens. Smart Content. Smart Choice.
