Jill Wilder Appointed President at Aptech to Lead New Market Growth Initiatives
Aptech, provider of a leading suite of enterprise accounting, business intelligence, financial planning and management solutions for the hospitality industry, has announced the appointment of Jill Wilder as president of the company. Wilder has served as Aptech’s vice president for 22 years and has been with the company since 1986. Aptech’s outgoing president and founder, Jay Troutman, while stepping down from his day-to-day responsibilities, will continue in his role as Chairman of the Board and owner of the company. Troutman incorporated Aptech in 1970 and has led the company for more than 50 years. In addition to Wilder’s appointment, Sam Costa has been named vice president, and will serve alongside current vice president Cam Troutman. Costa previously held the title of Director of Customer Support for Aptech, where he has served for nearly 30 years. These leadership changes were necessitated by the rapid growth of the company and are effective immediately.
“Aptech grew out of a need for advanced financial and planning solutions designed specifically for hospitality, and I am proud to say that we have continued to serve the industry with the most innovative technology and an unmatched dedication to customer service for over 50 years,” said Jay Troutman, Aptech’s founder and former president. “Jill has been a critical element to our success for more than 38 of those years, providing strategic, visionary leadership in a variety of areas—from product development to operations, staffing, marketing and client relationships—so she is a natural choice to lead us to new levels of growth and innovation, as we enter an era of rapid change and technological advancement for the hospitality industry.”
Aptech’s award-winning solutions include PVNG, Execuvue® and Targetvue, which comprise an integrated technology ecosystem designed to help hoteliers at both the corporate and property levels understand their financial and operational data and provide actionable insights. The company was recently named a finalist for the second consecutive year in the Hotel Tech Awards by Hotel Tech Report in the category of Best Finance & Hotel Accounting Software.
“At Aptech, we continue to innovate by focusing our efforts on finding solutions to improve the business challenges of the hotel industry—but we know that is only part of the equation,” said Wilder. “We are only successful when our clients succeed, and our team is widely recognized for providing superior, personalized customer service and building long-term relationships with our clients to help them navigate the path needed to achieve growth and help their properties operate more efficiently. I am deeply honored to have been chosen to lead this exceptional team as we continue to scale and serve the industry’s changing needs over the coming years.”
In her new role, Wilder will lead all day-to-day operations for Aptech and will be supported by vice presidents, Sam Costa and Cam Troutman, as well as a highly experienced and knowledgeable team of hospitality technology, financial and customer service professionals.
